Prior to starting his own business, Rick Willard worked in the Large Corporate Marketing division of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, where he advised corporations on executive benefit programs.
Rick earned his degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Western New England College in Massachusetts. He is active in his community, and has served as Chairman of one of the areas largest community events, the Wilbraham Peach Festival. He has served as the Director of the East Longmeadow Exchange Club and Vice President of MassMutual’s chapter of Toastmasters International.
Rick resides in Wilbraham, Massachusetts with his wife Brenda. They have four grown children and five grandchildren.
Erik Skar joined Willard Financial Group in 2003. He holds dual degrees in Psychology and Business from Saint Olaf College in Minnesota. Before joining the team, Erik specialized in disability income insurance coverage at Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company.
Erik is a true athlete. He was a contestant on the Survivor Television series filmed in East Malaysia in 2000 and he played professional soccer in Europe. He has traveled extensively all over the world and is fluent in several languages including Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Polish. He and his wife Renata reside in Wilbraham, Massachusetts with their daughter Julia.
Christopher Mingolla has been with Willard Financial Group since 2001. Prior to coming to the firm, Chris worked in sales. He earned a degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Westfield State College in Massachusetts.
Chris has extensive experience conducting roundtables and leading educational seminars for business owners.
He enjoys sports and giving back to the community as a coach of a 7th/8th grade football team in Wilbraham, Massachusetts. Chris resides in Ludlow, Massachusetts with his wife Carina and their two daughters Cailey and Gianna.
